Ranch Democrats focuses its efforts within the communities of Ladera Ranch, Las Flores and Rancho Mission Viejo to advance the goals of the Democratic Party, as defined by the platforms of the California Democratic Party and the Democratic National Committee through voter outreach, public policy and political issue analysis, education, fund-raising, candidate recruitment and support, coordination with other Democratic groups, and other activities to benefit the Democratic Party while also publicizing activities and building its membership.

Some of the ways your donation will be used:
- Donations to Democratic federal, state and local candidates and state initiatives.
- Pay for Ranch Democrat operating expenses like website, P.O. Box, insurance, supplies, general subscriptions to services, mailing costs, signs, and room reservations for meetings.
Different donation types:
- General One-Time Donation – These donations are great and are very much appreciated.
- Sustaining Donation – These monthly donations are critical for Ranch Democrats to plan and budget for expenses. You can split your donation into smaller amounts and specify how long you want the recurring donation to last. It can be for a fixed number of months or continue until you turn it off.
How does the donation process work?
- First, we collect the payment for your donation using a third-party application called ActBlue.
- If you already have an ActBlue Express account you can use that account to complete your payment.
- An ActBlue account is not required but it will speed up future payments for donations.
- Second, a Donor Information Form will be displayed. This form is needed to collect donor payment information that is required by Federal and State regulations. It is important that you take the time to complete this form.
- NOTE: You may be prompted to select a picture. This is called Captcha and is used to prevent spammers from using the site. If it looks like the page went blank then scroll up.
