We are cutting turf in a big way! Ranch Democrats’ members and guests have stepped up in a big way to support our Field Team by joining us to canvass our neighborhoods. We conducted our SECOND EVER door knocking event on Sunday, September 27, and we are just getting started!
Ranch Democrats volunteer Field Team Canvassers on September 27
| We were excited to grow our canvassing team from two members during our first canvass, to seven members for our second canvass! |
Why do we canvass? We canvass to fight to protect our democracy by reaching our Democratic neighbors in person to:
- Encourage voters to vote in November–Get Out the Vote (GOTV)
- Educate them on the slate of candidates, and proposition recommendations, that are endorsed by the Democratic Party of Orange County
- Introduce our Ranch Democrats to our neighbors and encourage them to come join us.
Thank you volunteers for a very successful event, to all who stepped up to first collate and package our literature for the drop, and to those who walked with us. We had four separate teams walking our community, and covered a WHOPPING 94 homes in the Essencia neighborhoods (we knocked on all the doors colored in orange).
Won’t you join us on our next canvass, scheduled for Sunday, November 10 at 9am? Please email our Field Team leaders to volunteer, or to ask further questions, at:
